During the October half term Northern Thunder will run 2 netball training / fun camps, one at Warrington Ball Hall and the other one at The North West Regional Basket Ball Centre at the Reddish Ball Hall in Stockport . Both fantastic indoor venues with sprung wooden floors.
The camps are extremely popular and at February half term they saw over 140 girls from the age of 10 to 16 take part . All the girls took away with them a Northern Thunder netball and a Thunder training t-shirt . The camps this time will run on a similar basis at a cracking price of £44.00 for two full days.
The girls will receive some expert coaching from Thunder head coach Mike Greenwood who will be assisted by some of the Thunder players. One or two of the clubs, who’s players took part in the camps last time had their club coaches stay for the duration of the camps to take notes.
This is a great opportunity for young players to receive top quality coaching at the same time as enjoying themselves and also keeping active during the school holidays.
